Artist In Residence Program 2025: Terra State Community College

FREMONT, OH - In northern Ohio in a community that is halfway between a transportation hub and a farming community, lays Terra State Community College. At the helm of a very involved and motivated music department is Professor Brennan Willis who invited me out to teach his students the primary colors of the music business and share with them the live looping platform, a platform that has taken me to different corners of the world and, quite frankly....changed my life.

I was able to spend a few afternoons with his students and was excited to see talent and motivation in all shapes, sizes, genres, experience levels, and life goals. Rappers, horn players, DJs, vocalists, songwriters.... everybody held equal space during our workshops, we shared and I hope in my heart of hearts, that the students enjoyed it as much as I did.

Youtube has a short video I made showing the hows and wheres of my workshops.....I just wish Youtube could properly convey the pride and excitement that permeated the walls of Terra State Community College.
